Qatar: On 13th December, the Qatari Businesswomen Association (QBWA) and Gulf Leaders Circle (GLC) officially formalized a significant partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.

This formal agreement was the culmination of a meeting between Aisha Alfardan, Vice Chairwoman of the QBWA, Jiskala Khalayli, QBWA Executive Director, and Adriana Peralta, Country Manager of GLC Qatar. The collaboration, rooted in the shared vision of empowering women in leadership, business, and entrepreneurship, marks a pivotal moment in the advancement of female leaders in the Gulf Region.

With pride, the QBWA and GLC introduced the first outcome of their collaboration: the inaugural event, “The Origin, She Leads, She Grows,” scheduled to take place on March 3, 2024, in Riyadh. This event serves as a beacon for influential female leaders from the Gulf Region, providing them with a dedicated space to gather, share their trajectories, and inspire others.

The MoU emphasizes The Qatari Businesswomen Association’s goal of unlocking the potential of future generations in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030. Moreover, the strategic collaboration between QBWA and GLC signifies a commitment to breaking barriers and fostering an environment where women can thrive in leadership roles.

As the two organizations embark on this joint venture, they not only set the stage for an empowering event but also pave the way for sustained efforts toward gender equality and women’s advancement in the Gulf Region.
