Oman: Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) has successfully launched five new service stations in strategic locations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). As part of OOMCO’s commitment to delivering integrated service solutions, these state-of-the-art stations, situated in Jeddah, Mecca, and Dammam, bring the total number of fully operational service points in Saudi Arabia to 30, according to a recent report from Times of Oman.

With 20 years of expertise in the fuel retail sector, the Oman Oil Marketing Company is committed to redefining service station standards beyond the traditional fuel-focused model. Moreover, through its one-stop-shop approach, OOMCO transforms service points into comprehensive customer hubs, offering convenience stores, ATMs, fast-food cafes, specialty coffee shops, and essential automotive services. These features are carefully designed to cater to the diverse needs of customers.

Jaber Al Wahaibi, General Manager of Global Markets, Strategic Planning, and Business Development at OOMCO, emphasized the progress made as a testament to OOMCO’s commitment to customer connectivity across its entire network. “Our cumulative experience in the sector has contributed to the development of cutting-edge, convenient, and competitive service stations,” said Al Wahaibi.

Nasser Al Maawali, Regional Director of OOMCO in KSA, expressed enthusiasm for the future, stating, “We look forward to launching new stations during 2024 and the coming years, which are aimed at strengthening our presence.”

The expansion aligns seamlessly with broader economic objectives, as OOMCO actively supports the growth of trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Oman. Additionally, this strategic move is in pursuit of the goals outlined in both Oman Vision 2040 and Saudi Vision 2030.

As OOMCO establishes itself as a key player in the fuel retail sector in the region, its integrated service stations enhance convenience for customers and also contribute to the broader vision of economic collaboration between the two nations. With the successful launch of these five service stations and plans for additional openings in the coming years, OOMCO is set to play a significant role in shaping the future of the fuel retail sector in the Kingdom.
