KSA: Saudi Arabia is preparing for an exciting return to the World Travel Market ( WTM ) in London, where an impressive delegation of more than 75 influential stakeholders will take center stage.
Leading this initiative is the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), leading a diverse group of industry experts representing various sectors of the Saudi tourism industry, including DMOs, DMCs, Hotels, Tour Operators, Airlines, and Cruise companies.
The STA’s interactive exhibition will immerse visitors in Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural tapestry, offering traditional melodies, aromatic coffee, date carts, and captivating live demonstrations of age-old crafts. The stand features a Media Studio for trade partner perspectives and showcases cutting-edge technology, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s dedication to innovation.
Saudi Arabia’s diversity will shine with an interactive map and an activities calendar. A Saudi Expert activation will handle business inquiries and facilitate trade partner registration via QR code. Moreover, the Nusuk Area will support pilgrims with an integrated digital platform for Makkah and Madinah.
Notably, throughout the event, the STA delegation will host bilateral meetings, participate in speaking engagements, and engage in networking opportunities. The CEO of STA will grace the WTM London stage, delivering a keynote address that is bound to amplify the event’s energy.
Participation in WTM London has been an integral component of Saudi Arabia’s tourism strategy since opening its doors to international visitors in 2019. Over time, the nation has crafted an impressive track record of securing deals with global trade partners.
Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO and Member of the Board at Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), expressed, “Saudi’s expanded and record-breaking participation this year mirrors our expanded targets and accelerated growth — 150 million visits by 2030.”
He emphasized the significance of forging new connections and business opportunities, making it more competitive than ever for trade partners to introduce visitors to the wonders of Arabia.
