KSA: The tenth edition of the Arab-China Business Conference began on 11th June in Riyadh. The two-day conference will end on 12th June 2023. The conference was inaugurated by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman.

The conference aims to improve the trade and economic ties between Arab and Chinese businesses. It was organized by the Ministry of Investment in collaboration with the League of Arab States, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Union of Arab Chambers.

This year’s conference is on the theme of “Cooperation for Prosperity” delving into high-quality investment opportunities across various sectors.

Moreover, marking Saudi Arabia’s first hosting of the event, the conference agenda also includes sessions and meetings that highlight how partnerships can contribute to sustainable development in both Arab countries and China.

The patronage of the kingdom’s Crown Prince at the conference demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing strategic cooperation with influential international economic powers for long-term, beneficial outcomes, highlighted Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih. Additonally, he stated that the event represents a positive shift in the dynamics of Arab-Chinese trade relations.

Furthermore, as one of the largest gatherings of its kind, the conference featured 8 sessions, 18 workshops, and specialized meetings, providing a platform to introduce new projects and discuss crucial topics such as innovative technologies, trade cooperation, and the future of joint economic relations between the two regions.

The 10th edition of the Arab-China Business Conference served as a premier Arab-Chinese business and investment event, bringing together over 3,000 decision-makers, senior government officials, investors, business owners, and specialists.

Moreover, with the participation of 23 countries, the conference aimed to strengthen the strategic partnership between Arab and Chinese entities through initiatives like the Belt and Road Initiative, fostering economic cohesion and multilateral partnerships for mutual prosperity, growth, and progress.
