UAE: A $10 billion UAE-focused fund will be launched at the upcoming Global Wealth Conference (GWC) in London by the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWFI). SWFI is recognized worldwide as the most reliable source for information on institutional investors and global capital.
THE GWC platform has successfully attracted several sources of capital from nations like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the United Arab Emirates. The initial information reports that a 10 USD billion UAE-focused fund will be momentously launched at the conference.
Ajlan & Bros, a prominent conglomerate in the Middle East region, recognized as one of the largest in the private sector, will be among the sixty confirmed attendees from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The conference is set to welcome an extensive line-up of attendees. These include about 40 sovereign wealth funds, 50+ family offices from across the globe, 30+ pension and public funds, and many more.
Lakshmi Narayanan, Chairman of the SWFI & Michael Maduell and president of SWFI, commented on the event calling it “An exceptional platform for GCC countries and prominent business entities to highlight and exchange a multitude of business opportunities with institutional investors.” He added that currently distinguished Middle Eastern families make up about 20% of the total attendees confirmed for the conference that is set to take place at some of the historic locations in London, U.K.
The conference attendees will witness the grand launch of the $20 billion Tourism Infrastructure Fund which is specifically dedicated to catalyzing the development initiatives within the MENA region’s vibrant tourism sector.
